Isn't cloth diapering difficult?
No, if you can use a disposable, you can cloth diaper. Our prefolds just lay in a diaper cover which fastens with snaps or Velcro. No pins necessary.

How do you clean the diapers?
We follow the guidelines provided by the National Association of Diaper Services. We use detergents that are tough on bacteria, but easy on the environment. Diapers are pH balanced for the comfort of baby's skin. We also use commercial         Electrolux washers and dryers that are energy efficient.

Do I need to rinse/dunk the diapers?
No, please do not. If the diaper is only wet, just toss it in the pail. If solids are present in the diaper, please shake them into the toilet. We recommend the use of a biodegradable liner once solid food has been introduced.

Where do you deliver?
We deliver to Hancock County and southern Penobscot County. If you aren't located in one of these areas, give us a call and we can work out something.

What if I forget to leave the diapers out on pickup day?
No worries…it can be easy to forget with a baby in the home. We will knock on your door, but if no one answers we will still leave the clean diapers. We will arrange to either pick them up another day or have you drop them off at our shop. If         this happens again, we will have to charge you $5.00 for the missed pickup.

How often do I need to change my baby?
Like any diaper system, we recommend you change them every 2-3 hours.

What if I am going on vacation?
Just give us a call one week before and we can either suspend your service or provide you with additional diapers for your vacation.
